I’m Paul McLeod, a Mississauga, Ontario based sports and event photographer focused on capturing the moments that define competition—the speed, intensity, emotion and human stories unfolding around it.
My work ranges from hockey and ringette to baseball, skiing, speed skating and other competitive sports. I look for more than peak action. A strong sports photograph should also reveal concentration, determination, celebration and the connection between athletes, teammates and their surroundings.
Whether I’m working beside the ice, along the field or at a major multi-sport event, my goal is to create clean, compelling images that communicate what it felt like to be there.
I’m available for sporting events, team coverage, editorial assignments and select commercial projects.
